Nokia Erdos to Replace 8800 Arte

Nokia is hatching a new 8800 luxury handset that promises to woo its high-profile consumers. Dubbed, Erdos, this cell phone is shaped out of a single piece of bullet silver which is usually known as stainless steel. It stands out for its exclusively deigned keypad that oozes out as the slider slithers down. At the rear a 5 megapixel auto-focus camera with Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash will help to capture precious moments. The display is covered by glass, which remains silver in standby mode and becomes transparent when the screen is turned on. It runs on Symbian S60 and will ship with 8 GB internal memory and no microSD card slot.

The mains specs of Nokia Erdos include:
  • 2.4 inch OLED display with 320 x 240 pixels and 16 million colors
  • Tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900 MHz) and dual-band WCDMA connectivity
